As part of the activities of Ghana’s 65th independence celebration scheduled on 6th March 2022 at cape coast sports stadium in cape coast, the Assin South District Assembly led by the District Coordinating Director and the District chief executive, HON. Felicia Amissah Ntrakwah, joined the church of Pentecost in Assin Ngresi on Sunday, 27 February 2022 for prayer and Thanksgiving service to the all mighty God for how far, he has brought Ghana.
Pastor Bismarck Frimpong touched on ways to help develop Ghana, as well as the benefits of taxes in the development of Ghana and why we should stay away from corrupt practices such as bribery, nepotism favoritism, fake prophecies and others from the highest level to lower level.
HON. DCE used the opportunity to urge the congregation which include parents to help her find way of minimize the rate of teenage pregnancy in the district.
She was also concerned about how community members feel reluctant in cleaning their surroundings for the purpose of hygiene, she entreated them to be proactive with regards to sanitation in order to prevent sickness and other related diseases in the District.
The aim of HON. Felicia Amissah Ntrakwah is for the people of Assin South to give her their maximum support to work productively towards the development of Assin South District.
The Director of Non formal education also at end of the sermon, informed the congregation about an ongoing adults education at the District Assembly.
