Assin South DCE, Hon. Derrick Owusu Ambrose has paid a working visit to a number of communities in the district. The purpose of the tour was to interact with them as well as to find out problems they face as a community and what the assembly can do to assist them. The communities are Assin Akweteykrom, Gyinabordea, Gyahadzie, Bipokoko, Akrofuom, Appiahkrom, Aboabo camp and Assin Odumasi.
Addressing the chiefs and people, the DCE said, auxillary measures that were implemented to boost revenjue generation has yielded results as the assembly has been able to mobilize an amount of One Hundred And Sixty Six Thousand, Eight Hundred and Twenty Ghana cedis as at July.
