ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN DURBAR, DUBBED ‘STREETS FOR LIFE’, AT ASSIN ATTOBIASE-KYEKYEWERE D/A PRIMARY SCHOOL

As part of activities marking the Fifth Anniversary of the ACCIDENT VICTIM SUPPORT GHANA’s support to families of school children who were involved in a car accident at Kyekyewere in the Assin South District, the group in the company of the District Coordinating Director and other members of the Assin South District Assembly held a mini durbar at Atobiase D/A Basic School.

The mini durbar was held to among other things create road safety awareness among student folks and enhance student knowledge on road safety measures. The group believes this will go a long way to helping protect the lives of these young ones while they use the road.

The group later called on the District Chief Executive Officer of Assin South, Hon. Felicia Ntrakwa Amissah to thank her office for the continuous support the group has enjoyed ever since she became the DCE. They recount how the continuous support of the DCE had gone a long way to help them discharge their duties to the affected families over the past few years.

The District Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Felicia Ntrakwa Amissah on her part also thank the Group for collaborating with the Assembly to offer a leaning hand to the affected families. And expressed her willingness in welcoming all other such institutions whose initiatives will help improve the livelihoods of residents of her district. She added that her doors are always open.
