In a moment that will be remembered as a spiritual milestone in our nation’s history, every 1st of July, has been declared a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.
This sacred observance, under the theme: “𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕, 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚,” is a timely and divinely inspired response to the challenges and triumphs of our great nation. It is also a testament to the humility, wisdom, and spiritual consciousness of a leader who believes that no nation can rise without the favour and guidance of God.
In view of this, Assin South maiden Prayer and Thanksgiving service was held at The Church Of Pentecost, Assin Ngresi. The occasion was attended by the DCE, Chiefs, community members and Heads of Department of the district assembly.
