This General Assembly meeting was the First Ordinary meeting of the Fourth Session of the Fifth assembly of Assin South District Assembly and was held at the Church of Pentecost, Nsuaem on the 18TH August, 2023.
In attendance was the District Chief Executive, Hon. felicia Ntrakwa Amissah, District Coordinating Director, Mr Richard Ansah Amoafo, Presiding Member, Hon. D.K Amoako-Okyere, Assembly Members, Appointees and Heads Of Department.
The Presiding Member welcomed all members present and thanked them for honoring this meeting. He introduced the newly posted District Co-ordinating Director, Richard Ansah Amoafo, the District Agric Director, Robert Obeng and the CHRAJ Officer, Emelia Owusua to the august house and wished them a warm welcome to be part of the Assembly.
The Hon. Dce then presented Her Sessional Address and Executive Committee Report to the notable house for feather deliberations.
The secretaries of the six (6) Area Councils, (Nyankumasi, Andoe, Adankwaman, Nsuta, Anyinabrim, Ongwa) briefed the house on the successes and challenges in their operations. The house applauded them on their successes and promised to tackle their challenges.
The Hon. Presiding Member expressed his gratitude to the members for their contribution towards a successful meeting.
