Distribution of School Furniture to Schools in the Assin South District
In a remarkable stride towards improving quality education, the Honorable District Chief Executive of Assin South District, Hon. Felicia Ntrakwah Amissah distributed 627 dual desks today, September 20, 2024, to 35 schools in the District.
The initiative benefited 33 basic schools and 2 senior high schools, ensuring a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for students across the district.
This milestone highlights the commitment of the District Assembly to prioritize quality education and address classroom furniture challenges in advancing the District’s mission to deliver inclusive and quality education for all.
This latest initiative brings the total number of desks allocated to schools during her tenure to over 1,700, marking another milestone in her dedication to enhancing learning environments.
Speaking at the event, the DCE, Hon. Felicia Ntrakwah Amissah reaffirmed the Assembly’s dedication to supporting education and empowering the youth for a brighter future.
