On the 22nd of December, 2022, a team led by the D.C.E Hon. Felicia Ntrakwa Amissah commissioned a rice factory at Assin Akwetey Krom. In attendance was the District Coordinating Director, Presiding Member, District Agricultural Director, District Planning Officer and the Assembly Member for the electoral area.
