As part of its ongoing efforts to empower the youth and support vulnerable groups within the district, the Assin South District Assembly, through the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, has successfully completed a Six-Week Caregivers Training Program aimed at equipping participants with essential skills in caregiving.
The program, which ran from 1st April, 2025 to 16th May,2025, brought together a diverse group of participants including young people, women, and community members passionate about providing care for the elderly, persons with disabilities, and individuals with health challenges.
